In winter, Radstadt stands out with its broad selection of superbly groomed slopes  - an El Dorado for carvers, skiers and boarders. From beginners to acrobats on the slopes, everyone here finds his or her piece of skiing paradise. The family-style Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski area, protected from the prevailing winds and featuring both a new 8-person gondola and 6 km-long floodlit toboggan run, is a hot tip with the insiders. At the local ski school, exceptionally well-trained ski instructors are ready and able to assist, while there is also a ski kindergarten (with lunchtime childcare available) for our little "dudes"!

 

Thanks to free ski buses, state-of-the-art lifts and modern snowmaking equipment,  crowded slopes and long waits are a thing of the past. We are located in the midst of the Ski Amadé, which includes the ski regions of the Salzburg Sports World, Schladming- Dachstein- Tauern, Gastein, Grossarl Valley and Hochkönig's Winter Kingdom. That means, you can take full advantage of an unbelievable 860 (!) km of slopes with 270 lifts - all on a single ski pass !
